Choose a small, measurable workflow
Start with a repetitive sequence such as opening a record, copying its reference into another window or exporting a report. Document the starting screen, required inputs, expected result and situations that need a person.
TriggerFlow provides recording, window targeting, typing, image matching and OCR. Which combination fits depends on the application; a legacy ERP window and a terminal emulator need different setup and testing.
Make each hand-off explicit
A record-processing workflow can follow this pattern. Use test records while setting it up.
- Wait for the target window and establish the correct input focus.
- Recognise the expected record or readiness state.
- Capture and check any reference needed by the next step.
- Perform the action once, then verify the confirmation.
- Stop or branch when the application shows a known error.
Prove it on one PC first
Run against representative screens, slower responses and missing data before repeating the workflow. Record the display scale, application version and permissions that the setup requires.
Profiles and their template images can be shared, and dashboard capabilities support work across devices. Each destination still needs the right application, access and validation. A shared package does not remove those setup requirements.
